Hello!

Registration is now open for the first XNA UK user group conference. The bar camp style conference is open to everyone interested in building with XNA from hobbyist to professional, we welcome you all.

The day will open with a short session by Microsoft talking about XNA and the new Community Games opportunity - yes you can make money from your hobby by publishing to the 17million Xbox owners around the world

The rest of the day is over to you. Book a 20min (inc. setup) session to show off your latest game development, technique or even seeking guidance on implementing your game/effect idea from your peers! There are only 12 sessions available so book yours now by emailing Slotbooker@xna-uk.net

Alternatively, if there is something specific you’d like to see covered in a session do send session ideas to slotbooker too. We’ll post them up on the user group site to seek speakers.

The day will wrap up with a LAN-party playing multi-player XNA games - so don’t forget your laptop and controller if you want to take part. Beatnik Games are providing the latest beta of Plain Sight for us to play on. If you have a multi-player game you’d like to share (or TEST!!!!) here is an excellent opportunity - let us know by emailing Slotbooker@xna-uk.net

We look forward to seeing you!
